Who?             YOU!   Beginners, or those needing a refresher.

What?            American Mahjong 101 – Basics for learning the traditional game with 4-players.  We will cover the rules of the game as per the National Mah Jongg League, learn the tiles, learn the 2026 game card, and have an open game or two.

Where?          The Harmony Center located at 223 Hudon Road, Sequim, WA

NOTE:  Please do not park on the paved driveway as this is reserved for the homeowners.  You can park by the large garage structure on the right of the paved driveway, or on the gravel/grass area in front of the property on Hudon Road.  Please pull in close to neighboring cars as parking is limited to 20 vehicles.  Carpooling is highly recommended!

Why?              It’s fun!  It’s challenging!  It’s “food” for our brains!  It’s social!

This is a FREE class.  Tips always appreciated.  Also, the Harmony Center is a 501c3 nonprofit, and they do not charge us to use their facility for classes.  Donations to the Harmony Center can be made via their website (www.harmonycentersequim.org), or via the donation bin in their lobby area.  Donations go towards utilities and maintenance of the Harmony Center.

What to bring:

1. We will take a couple of breaks so feel free to bring a beverage, lunch, or any refreshments you’d like for yourself and/or to share with others.
2. A jacket or sweater as the room can be chilly.
3. Pen and notepad.

At the end of the class, your help in putting away tables and chairs will be greatly appreciated!!
