DESCRIPTION:The Sequim Meditation Circle is a group of Self-Realization Fellowship devotees that hold regular group meditation services to practice Kriya Yoga and study the timeless teachings given by the founder of Self-Realization Fellowship\, Paramahansa Yogananda. DESCRIPTION:Join us in a  monthly book club to read and discuss books as chosen by the group. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month. \nThis is a reminder that our meeting for this month is this coming Tuesday (September 16) at 2:00 PM at the Harmony Center. We will be discussing\, “The Salt Path.”\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur next month’s book is\, “The Woman in Cabin 10\,” by Ruth Ware.  I have attached discussion questions.\nBarbara has offered her home to us for our October meeting. Her address is: 102 Quail Meadows in Sequim. It will be a potluck. So\, bring something yummy. 🙂\n\n\n\n\nHere are some possible discussion questions:\n\nHow would you describe the book? A roller coaster ride? Predictable mystery? Careful attention to detail? Just a fun read? Unexpected twists and turns? Not what I expected? Kept me reading and on the edge of my seat?\nDid you find Lo (Laura) a likable\, believable character? Why or why not?\nWhat was the connection between the burglary at Lo’s apartment and the events on the ship?\nWhich characters aroused your suspicions during the story? Who did you think was the woman in Cabin 10? Why? Did that change?\nWhat is Stockholm Syndrome and do you think that effected Lo and Carrie’s relationship?\nHow effective were the email messages in moving the story forward? Were they necessary? Irrelevant. Red herrings?\nWhat was the connection between the dark haired girl in a Pink Floyd t-shirt on Archer’s phone and the woman in cabin 10? Was that photo relevant to the mystery or a red herring?\nWas Carrie a victim\, co-conspirator or primary conspirator in the crime on the high seas?\nWhy did Lo have a change of heart at the end of the novel and decide to move to New York? Did that seem like a normal response?\nWhat happened to the main characters by the end of the book? Lo\, Judah\, Richard\, Anne\, Ben\, Carrie\, and Johann? Others?\nHow was the mystery resolved and were you satisfied with the ending of the story? Why or why not?\nWere there unanswered questions in the plot? If so\, what wasn’t covered or finalized in the ending?
