Azul is an award-winning abstract strategy board game for 2 to 4 players, designed by Michael Kiesling and released in 2017. Inspired by traditional Portuguese azulejos (ceramic tiles), players act as artisans decorating the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora by drafting colored tiles and placing them in specific patterns to score points.
